Suffolk + eastern Nassau. Trucks rolling out of Hauppauge.
We cover every town in Suffolk and the eastern half of Nassau. Most pumping calls are within 30 minutes of the Hauppauge yard, and our installers know SCDHS permit requirements in every municipality.
Why your town matters for cesspool work
Long Island is not one market. Suffolk and Nassau have different SCDHS permit requirements, different soil conditions, and different rules about what kind of system you can install on your lot. A cesspool replacement in a south-shore wellhead-protection zone (where I/A advanced septic is mandatory) is a completely different job than one inland in Smithtown where conventional precast rings are still allowed.
We have done 2100+ homes across both counties since 2004. That means we know which towns mandate I/A nitrogen-reducing systems on every replacement, which neighborhoods sit on tight clay where leaching is a problem, and which historic Levittown and Massapequa lots still have brick cesspools from the 1950s that have never been pumped.
Suffolk County cesspool projects
Most of our Suffolk jobs are within 25 minutes of the Hauppauge yard. The county is the national leader in I/A advanced septic mandates: any replacement in a south-shore wellhead zone or near a protected waterway requires an SCDHS-approved nitrogen-reducing OWTS, and the SCSIP grant program covers up to $30,000 of the cost. We handle the application paperwork on every eligible job. Riverhead, Patchogue, Bay Shore, and Babylon homes are the most frequent SCSIP candidates.
Nassau County cesspool projects
Eastern Nassau jobs in Massapequa, Bethpage, Plainview, and Syosset are 20 to 35 minutes from the shop. Housing is dense and lot sizes are small, which makes excavation routing the trickiest part of the job. Most Nassau replacements still permit conventional precast leaching pools, though some south-shore zones near the bay are starting to require I/A. We confirm the requirement at the SCDHS Article 6 review before quoting.
What we bring to every town
Same crew, same trucks, same pricing, regardless of zip code. We pump the standard 1,000 to 1,500 gallon tanks on schedule and we handle SCDHS permits in every municipality we work in. If your town has tight setbacks from wells or property lines, we plan the install around them. And we file the SCSIP paperwork on every eligible Suffolk replacement at no extra charge.
Not sure if we cover your town?
If you are on Long Island west of the Hamptons, we cover you. We do the North Shore up to Wading River and the South Shore up to Westhampton. Past those, call first.
