About Long Island Cesspool Co.
Two generations of Palmieris on the trucks
2100+ Long Island homes since 2004. Nine people, all employees, no subcontractors. Founded by Tom Palmieri after twenty years on his father's truck. Still based out of the same Hauppauge yard.
Six things that don't change
Every contractor says they're different. Here's what we actually do differently, on every job, since day one.
Family crew, not a chain
Tom on the trucks, Marie on the phone, Joe on the installs. Every installer on your job has been with us 3+ years. No day labor, no subs.
Licensed where the work happens
Suffolk SCDHS #SCDHS-IR-2004-0187. NY State Pumper #NYS-SEP-PUMP-18422. $2,000,000 general liability. Full workers comp.
We answer the phone
24/7 emergency · 7am-7pm scheduled. Marie answers weekdays, dispatch routes nights and weekends. If we say we'll be there at 9, we're there at 9.
Written invoice, every visit
Gallons removed. Sludge depth. pH check. Tank condition photos. You get a real paper trail, not a verbal estimate.
Suffolk born, Suffolk based
Hauppauge yard, Hauppauge crew. We live on the same septic systems we service. Service area covers all of Suffolk and eastern Nassau.
SCSIP grant specialists
We've walked dozens of homeowners through the Suffolk County Septic Improvement Program. Up to $30,000 in grants for I/A systems. We do the paperwork.

From one truck to 2100+ homes
Tom Palmieri buys his first vacuum truck and starts pumping cesspools across Suffolk County. The Veterans Memorial Hwy yard opens with one truck and a phone.
Volume picks up, second pump truck added. Tom's brother joins on installs.
Hurricane Sandy floods south shore systems. The crew runs 16-hour days for three months pumping flooded cesspools and replacing collapsed leach pools.
Marie Palmieri builds out the dispatch system and customer database. Same-day callbacks become the standard.
First crew in the area trained on Hydro-Action and Norweco I/A systems. Suffolk's nitrogen-reduction grant program launches.
BBB A+. Joe Palmieri runs lead installer crew. SCSIP grant volume picks up across the south shore.
Two pump trucks, full mini-excavator fleet, 9-person crew. Still answering the phone, still showing up.
We pump, we replace, we show up when the tank's full at 2 a.m.
